Frequently asked questions
Everything companies ask before contracting an incentive trip. If your question isn't here, ask us directly — we reply within one business day.
Incentive travel is a reward trip a company gives its top performers for hitting defined goals, usually sales targets. Unlike a bonus check, it's a shared experience that recognizes achievement in front of peers and gives the rest of the team something visible to chase.
Planning a group trip in-house pulls leaders away from running the business, and details like transfers, dining for large groups, and activity timing are easy to get wrong. Tripio uses itineraries refined over years and sends a dedicated host on every trip, so your team gets a polished experience and your staff gets to enjoy it too.
Cost depends on destination, group size, travel dates, trip length, and what's included. Most clients start with a per-person budget, and we design the trip around it. Tell us your group size and travel window and we'll come back with package options and an estimate.
We recommend 8 to 14 months ahead. That window gives you the best choice of resorts and dates, and lets you announce the trip to your team early so it works as a motivator all year. Shorter timelines are sometimes possible depending on destination and availability.
Each itinerary lists exactly what it covers. As a rule, the price includes lodging, ground transfers, the planned activities and group meals, and your Tripio host. Flights are typically arranged separately, with guidance from us so everyone lands at the right time.
A deposit secures your dates and resort, and the balance is paid on a schedule set in your contract, with the final payment before departure. Exact terms depend on the destination and group size, and they're all in writing before you commit.
We've run trips from 2 to 400 travelers. Most of our groups are 15 to 200. Larger groups simply travel with more than one Tripio host.
Yes, and for President's Club trips we recommend it. Pricing is per person, so adding guests is simple math, and we handle their registration and rooming the same as everyone else's.
We tell every traveler exactly what they need for the destination and when, and we track it as part of registration. Obtaining passports and visas is each traveler's responsibility, but nobody finds out at the airport.
Incentive trips always move a little — qualifiers are earned up to the deadline. Your contract includes a headcount range and the adjustment terms, so normal changes are expected rather than a renegotiation.
Meet Mike.
When you contract Tripio, you work with Mike — one point of contact from the first call to the last flight home. He scopes the trip, sets the per-person price, and stays reachable the whole way.
